Lyxor analyserar utvecklingen för hedgefonder under första halvåret

Lyxor Asset Management har i denna veckorapport analyserat utvecklingen för hedgefonder under första halvåret.

L/S Credit & Fixed Income Arb.  noterade en stark utveckling medan L/S Equity backade. Trots det var inflödena positiva för den senare. Lyxor rekommenderar en diversifiering i portföljen.

En gynnsam utveckling noteras även för Event Driven, gynnad av mängden M&A-aktiviteter. Förvaltad förmögenhet steg här med 15 procent och Lyxor tror på en fortsatt positiv utveckling.

Vad gäller positioneringen är det tydligt att hedgefonder intar en försiktig hållning till US fixed income and credit. Trots en positiv utveckling för den amerikanska arbetsmarknaden är yielderna låga för amerikanska statsobligationer. L/S Credit and Fixed Income Arb. framstår som mer lukrativa än långa endast fixed income strategier i rådande amerikanskt klimat.
