Nytt team till Sector Asset Management

Stockholm (HedgeNordic.com) – Den norska hedgefondbutiken Sector Asset Management kommer inom kort addera ytterligare en fond till sitt utbud som ett resultat av att Svein Högset, före detta Goldman Sachs, lämnar London och flyttar till Norge. Högset har tillsammans med Mikael Berglund och Niklas Antman startat bolaget Incentive AS – ett Oslo-baserat förvaltningsbolag.

Högset var tidigare chef vid Principal Strategies enheten inom Goldman Sachs men lämnade bolaget 2006 för att sätta upp Montrica Investment Management, en firma som sedermera slogs samman med TPG Axon (2010) där Högset blev ansvarig för dess europeiska enhet. Berglund har arbetat med Högset på Montrica och senare även på TPG Axon medan Antman, en före detta partner på Kairos, ansluter till Incentive från en roll som portföljförvaltare inom SEB.

Incentive AS är för närvarande i processen att ansöka om regulatoriskt godkännande för fonden Incentive Active Value, en lång/kort, riktningsbaserad aktiefond vars syfte är att investera i mellanstora europeiska bolag med signifikant potential för värdestegring. Incentive Active Value Fund förväntas öppna för insättningar under sommaren 2014. Grundarna har själva satt in 25 MUSD i fonden som förväntas starta med mellan 100-150 MUSD i förvaltat kapital. Fonden kommer initialt förvaltas av Sector Fund Services (ett helägt dotterbolag till Sector Asset Management) som i sin tur har kontrakterat ut förvaltningsfunktionen till Incentive AS. Incentive kommer också dela lokaler med Sector Asset Management och kommer dra nytta av dess operationella funktioner samt få tillgång till enheten för investerarrelationer.
