Frankrike och Belgien injicera 5,5 miljarder euro i Dexia

STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Frankrike och Belgien har enats över natten till torsdagen om att injicera 5,5 miljarder euro i nytt kapital till den krisdrabbade banken Dexia, som de numera kontrollerar.

Det skriver Financial Times.

Preferensaktier har utfärdats till de franska och belgiska regeringarna i utbyte för det nya kapitalet, vilket innebär att eventuella framtida vinster från banken ska återgå till staterna.

Dexia rapporterade på torsdagen att nettoförlusten under årets första nio månader uppgick till 2,4 miljarder euro. Sett till enbart det tredje kvartalet var nettoförlusten 1,2 miljarder euro. Banken har avyttrat flera enheter i efterdyningarna av sitt första räddningspaket.
