STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Swedbanks och DNB:s litauiska verksamheter anklagas för konkurrensbrott inom kontanthantering och inkassotjänster.

Tidigare på onsdagseftermiddagen rapporterade Nyhetsbyrån Direkt att även SEB är anklagade för konkurrensbrott i Litauen.

Om myndigheterna finner att bankerna är skyldiga till överträdelserna kan den ålägga dem böter på upp till 10 procent av fjolårets omsättning i den litauiska verksamheten.

“Konkurrensmyndigheterna har skickat ett brev som de förväntar sig att vi svarar på. Utredningen har pågått sedan 2009 så någon gång måste den komma till ett avslut. Vår uppfattning är naturligtvis att vi inte har brutit mot några konkurrensregler”, sade Thomas Backteman, kommunikationsdirektör på Swedbank, till Dagens Industri.
