IPM lanserar UCITS fond på Morgan Stanleys FundLogic-plattform

Stockholm (HedgeNordic) – Den svenska systematiska förvaltaren IPM har lanserat en ny UCITS fond på Morgan Stanleys plattform FundLogic enligt ett pressmeddelande från Morgan Stanley. Fonden som kommer gå under namnet IPM Systematic Macro UCITS Fund blir därmed den 17 fonden att lanseras på plattformen som idag har 2,7 miljarder dollar under förvaltning.

I en kommentar till lanseringen säger Stephane Berthet, chef för Morgan Stanleys Fundlogic Alternatives Platform:

– Vi är mycket glada att kunna annonsera lanseringen av IPM Systematic Maro Ucits Fund. IPMs investeringsstrategi har konsekvent levererat förstklassig riskjusterad avkastning med en låg korrelation till aktie- och räntemarknaden. Vi är övertygade att IPMs systematiska Global Macro strategi kommer att komplettera vårt nuvarande fondutbud väl.

Lars Ericsson, partner och ansvarig för kundrelationer på IPM säger i en kommentar:

– Vi ser mycket fram emot att arbeta med Morgan Stanley. Genom FundLogic plattformen kan vi nå en ny väldigt stor grupp av framförallt europeiska investerare som inte tidigare kunnat investera via våra befintliga fonder.

Serge Houles (bild), IPMs head of investment strategy, är initiativtagaren till UCITS produkten och ser lanseringen som ett viktigt steg i IPMs europeiska expansion:

– Genom UCITS fonden kommer en stor grupp europeiska investerare kunna få tillgång till IPM Systematic Macro Strategy. Detta då den handlas helt i linje med ursprungsstrategin. Strategin har tidigare bara varit tillgänglig via våra offshore eller QIF (Qualifying Investor Fund) lösningar.
