Tanglin lägger ned

Stockholm (HedgeNordic) – Det är med stor sorg som vi läser att en av Sveriges äldsta hedgefonder har lagts ned. Styrelsen i Tanglin Asset Management AB har beslutat att den aktiva förvaltningen av fonden Tanglin upphör per den 31 maj 2015.

Bakgrunden till beslutet är främst att den avkastning fonden genererat under de sista 2 åren inte nått upp till bolagets ambitionsnivå. Fondportföljen har avvecklats under sista dagarna i maj och investerarnas kapital återbetalades efter månadsskiftet maj/juni.

Tanglin startade år 2000 och har haft en genomsnittlig årlig avkastning om 7 procent. Avkastningen sedan start uppgår till 173 procent. Fondens avkastning har, i linje med bolagets målsättning, varit okorrelerad med utvecklingen på aktie- och räntemarknader och genererats till en tredjedel av aktiemarknadens risk. Fondens sämsta år var svagt negativt, -3 procent medan avkastningen det bästa året uppgick till 34 procent.
