Nordic Hedge Award utnämner ”bästa nordiska fond-i-hedgefond”

Stockholm (HedgeNordic) – För tredje året i följd uppmärksammades och belönades de mest framträdande nordiska hedgefonderna vid Nordic Hedge Award i Stockholm. Eventet organiseras av HedgeNordic, det enda mediaföretaget med exklusivt fokus på den nordiska hedgefondmarknaden.

I kategorin ”bästa nordiska fond-i-hedgefond” placerade sig fonden Graal Total på tredje plats, fonden förvaltas av svenska Aktie Ansvar. Fonden investerar i andra hedgefonder som förvaltas inom Aktie Ansvar. Under 2014 avkastade fonden 7,6 procent med en årlig standardavvikelse på 4,9 procent.

På andra plats hamnade OPM Vega Nordic Hedge som förvaltas av svenska OPM (Optimized Portfolio Management). Fonden investerar i ett urval av nordiska hedgefonder som täcker varierande geografiska områden, investeringsstrategier och tillgångsklasser. Under 2014 avkastade fonden 5,6 procent till en årlig volatilitet på 3,4 procent.

Vinnare av kategorin ”bästa fond-i-hedgefond” blev Merrant Alpha Select. Därmed har denna fond vunnit kategorin tre år i följd.

Merrant Alpha Select är en marknadsneutral fond-i-fond som investerar i 10-18 hedgefonder med låg samvariation och som portfölj betraktad har låg samvariation med aktie- och obligationsmarknader. Under 2014 avkastade fonden 4,2 procent till en extremt låg volatilitet på årsbasis motsvarande 1.5 procent.
