Goldmans VIP-lista – ”investera som det smarta kapitalet”

Stockholm (HedgeNordic) – Investmentbanken Goldman Sachs har publicerat sin lista med de aktier som är mest populära inom den närmare 2 biljoner USD stora hedgefondindustrin. Detta för att deras kunder ska kunna följa ”the smart money” och investera som proffsen.

Goldman Sachs så kallade VIP-lista, som är sammansatt av de aktier som är vanligast bland hedgefondernas tio största innehav, har slagit S&P 500 i år och är upp +19%. Portföljen slog marknaden även förra året och steg 23%, så den kan löna sig att följa ”the VIPs..”.

På topp-10-listan återfinner vi fyra bolag inom hälsosektorn – Actavis, Allergan, Covidien och Valeant – en sektor som gått mycket starkt i spåren av den höga aktiviteten inom företagsuppköp och sammanslagningar. Hälsosektorn är dessutom en strukturellt intressant sektor globalt sett, med fortsatt hög tillväxt enligt många bedömare.

Tre bolag från den nya industrin inom teknologisektorn, och som återfinns på listan, är Apple, Facebook och kinesiska Baidu. Dessa tre giganter är uppenbarligen fortfarande heta villebråd för hedgefondförvaltarna.

Den mer traditionella industrin representeras av flygbolaget American Airlines, där fonderna uppenbarligen räknar med en återhämtning i en bransch som länge lidit av höga bränslekostnader och lågkonjunktur, samt Citigroup och Ally Financial inom finanssektorn.
