Positiv avkastning för hedgefonder i november

This year’s Alternative Fixed Income report from HedgeNordic explores how institutional investors and asset managers are navigating this new reality, balancing yield and resilience amid shifting credit cycles, structural change, and evolving sources of return.

Stockholm (HedgeNordic) –  Efter två månader med negativa siffror var den aggregerade avkastningen för hedgefonder 1,08 procent i november enligt eVestments senaste månadsrapport. Hittills i år har den aggregerade avkastningen varit 2,85 procent vilket kan jämföras med helårsavkastningen under 2013 som var 10,20 procent. Största vinnare i november var aktivistfonder och fonder med inriktning på managed futures.

Enligt BarclayHedge har inflödet under årets andra halva till hedgefonder varit betydligt svagare än under årets första sex månader. ”Inflöden sedan juli har i genomsnitt varit 2,9 miljarder USD per månad jämfört med 13,8 miljarder USD per månad under första halvan av 2014,” sa Sol Waksman, president på BarclayHedge till Hedgeweek i veckan. Avkastningen för hedgefonder i oktober månad enligt TrimTabs / BarclayHedge var 0,3 procent. S&P 500 avkastade under samma månad 2,4 procent.
