This year’s Alternative Fixed Income report from HedgeNordic explores how institutional investors and asset managers are navigating this new reality, balancing yield and resilience amid shifting credit cycles, structural change, and evolving sources of return.

Stockholm (HedgeNordic) – På redaktionen noterade vi att det i indexdatabasen Nordic Hedge Index rapporterades in en uppgång som inte kunde gå obemärkt förbi.

Det är den finska CTA/trendföljande förvaltaren Estlander & Partners, som i sitt program Alpha Trend II rapporterade in resultatet för november: +18,59%. Och ja – vi talar om en enskild månad, inte helårssiffran.

Hittills under året har man dock inte skrapat ihop så mycket mer än det – för helåret är avkastningen 20,25% – och med tanke på att standardavvikelsen uppgår till hela 39,65% så bör man kunna förvänta sig rejäla rörelser.

Alpha Trend II är en version av Alpha Trend-programmet med stor hävstång (high leverage), där av den höga volatiliteten.

Estlander & Partners är en av pionjärerna inom CTA-förvaltning, med program som rullat sedan tidigt 90-tal. Dock har de senast åren bjudit på utmaningar, liksom för många trendföljande fonder, och avkastningen har under perioder därför varit svag.
