Stockholm (HedgeNordic) – Trots blandade resultat på världens börser befäste hedgefondbranschen den goda avkastningen från det första halvåret under årets tredje kvartal, enligt Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management Q4 Hedge Fund Outlook.

Diskretionära makro- och trendföljande strategier levererade bäst resultat under perioden. I fokus bland investerare under kvartalet var framförallt hur ECB skulle hantera risken för deflation i euroområdet och hur man skulle underlätta utlåningen bland regionens banker.

Avkastningen på statsobligationer sjönk till nya bottennivåer, Euron sjönk gentemot dollarn, volatiliteten på kreditmarknader var stor under framförallt början och slutet av perioden och MSCI World Index var upp under perioden. Förändringar inom de olika tillgångsslagen under kvartalet reflekterade osäkerheten kring besked om åtgärder från ECB i euroområdet.
