Blackstone reser ny fond – planerar ta in 13 mdr USD

Stockholm (HedgeNordic) – Den globala fastighetsmarknaden fortsätter attrahera mycket kapital, i spåren av de fortsatt fallande räntorna. Stora placerare världen över får allt svårare att finna avkastning inom räntemarknaden och aktiemarknaden känns inte tillräckligt stabil för att gå ”all-in”.

Därför har fastighetsmarknaden varit ett attraktivt tillgångsslag under en längre tid och intresset har växt kraftigt under den senaste tiden när alternativen inte längre ger avkastning. Den svenska marknaden har i storstadsområdena känts glödhet en tid och Riksbankens räntesänkning kommer nog inte ändra på det i närtid.

Världens största Private Equity-investerare inom fastigheter – Blackstone Group – vill enligt uppgifter till Reuters nu ta in USD 13 mdr i en ny global fastighetsfond, i likhet med sin föregående fond. Blackstone har lyckats fantastiskt bra med föregångaren, Blackstone Real Estate Partners VII som startades 2012, och har blivit en succé såväl för firman, som investerare. Fonden har enligt rapporter en nettoavkastning på 27% per den sista september.

Inför lanseringen har förvaltarna enligt uppgifter till Reuters försökt dämpa förväntningarna på den nya fonden och sagt att det kommer bli svårt att uppnå samma resultat som föregångaren.
