Nordic Hedge Award belönade de bästa räntehedgefonderna

This year’s Alternative Fixed Income report from HedgeNordic explores how institutional investors and asset managers are navigating this new reality, balancing yield and resilience amid shifting credit cycles, structural change, and evolving sources of return.

Stockholm (HedgeNordic.com) – För andra året i följd belönades på onsdagen de bästa nordiska hedgefondförvaltarna inom flera olika kategorier vid den så kallade Nordic Hedge Award ceremonin som arrangeras av HedgeNordic i Stockholm. Till bästa räntefokuserade hedgefond utsågs fonden MIRA från danska Nykredit Asset Management.

MIRA realiserade under 2013 en avkastning på imponerande 23,8% trots sin låga volatilitet på 7%. MIRA fokuserar sin förvaltning till danska hypotekslån med fokus på relativvärdering.

På andra plats kom fonden KOBRA som också förvaltas av Nykredit Asset Management. Fonden levererade en avkastning på goda 11% med en underliggande volatilitet på knappt 3%. Likt MIRA fokuserar KOBRA på danska hypotekslån men med fokus på durationshedgeade positioner på den korta ändan av yield-kurvan.

På tredje plats hamnade fjolårets vinnare i räntekategorin; Asgard Fixed Income Fund från Plinius Capital. Fonden levererade under året en avkastning på 16% till en underliggande volaitlitet på knappa 7%.
