Hedgefondförvaltare till SEB:s styrelse

Stockholm (HedgeFonder.nu) – I samband med kallelsen till Årsstämma i banken SEB framgår det att en svensk hedgefondprofil föreslås bli ny styrelseledamot: förvaltaren Sven Nyman. Dessutom föreslås också industrimannen Samir Brikho och Winnie Fok som nya ledamöter till styrelsen.

Det får anses vara något av en ovanlighet att hedgefondvärlden blir representerade inom de tyngsta börsbolagens styrelser, men nu kommer det att ske. Sven Nyman är vd och grundare till hedgefondförvaltaren RAM Rational Asset Management och fonden RAM One, med ca 3 miljarder under förvaltning. Sven Nyman har en lång och gedigen bakgrund inom finansvärlden ända sedan 80-talet och har tidigare bland annat haft ledande befattningar inom Investor och var vd för och grundare av Lancelot Asset Management.

Samir Brikho, född 1958 och utbildad vid KTH i Stockholm, är vd för det globala konsultbolaget Amec, som är verksamma inom olje- och gasindustrin och noterat på Londonbörsen. Samir Brikho innehade dessförinnan en rad ledande positioner inom ABB:s internationella verksamheter.

Winnie Fok är auktoriserad revisor i Australien och Hong Kong har bred erfarenhet av finansieringsverksamhet. Hon har uppdrag som rådgivare till Foundation Administration Management Sweden AB (FAM) som förvaltar Wallenbergstiftelserna och har förutom rollen som industriell rådgivare och Senior Advisor till Investor AB och Husqvarna AB under 2010 – 2012, tidigare bland annat varit chef och Senior Partner för EQT Partners Asia Limited. Winnie Fok är ledamot av styrelsen för SKF, Volvo Car Corporation, G4S Plc och Kemira Oyj.

Tuve Johannesson och Carl Wilhelm Ros har avböjt omval till styrelsen.
