Coeli expanderar och startar fondbolag i Luxemburg

Den svenska kapitalförvaltaren Coeli tar ytterligare ett viktigt steg i att bli en ledande nordisk s.k. Multi Manager med global distribution med fokus på aktiv förvaltning inom strategiska portföljer, hedgefonder, aktiefonder och räntefonder. Johan Lindberg anställs som VD.

Coeli har sedan 2001 bedrivit fondförvaltning med distribution mot framförallt svenska investerare. Efter en allt större efterfrågan från utländska investerare av Coelis fonder och förvaltningstjänster har Coeli beslutat att starta ett fondbolag i Luxemburg med en filial i Sverige. Detta ligger också i linje med kommande regelverk (AIFMD).

”Vi har de senaste åren märkt en ökad efterfrågan från utländska investerare för våra förvaltningslösningar. Att vi nu startar ett fondbolag i Luxemburg är ett naturligt steg för att bättre tillgodose nuvarande och nya investerares önskemål, säger Lukas Lindkvist, Head of Asset Management på Coeli.

Johan Lindberg anställs som VD för Coeli Asset Management S.A. Johan Lindberg har mer än 20 års erfarenhet från finansmarknaden i både Sverige och Luxemburg. Närmast kommer Johan från positionen som VD för BankInvests verksamhet i Luxemburg. Tidigare har Johan varit Nordenansvarig hos RBC Dexia Investor Services (numera RBC) och innehaft flera ledande positioner inom SEB, bland annat som VD för SEB Fund Services i Luxemburg.

Coeli tar nu första steget att bli en Nordisk Multi Manager med Global distribution”, avslutar Lukas Lindkvist.
