Stockholm (HedgeFonder.nu) – Daniel Brody, vice VD på Silk Invest har producerat en rapport för Risk Books som heter “En guide till fondförvaltning”. Den är väl värd att läsas. Daniel är välkänd i den skandinaviska marknaden sedan han varit CIO på danske fondförvaltaren Bank Invest och portföljförvaltningschef på Nordea Investment Management i Köpenhamn. När Daniel arbetade på Bank Invest lanserade han Danmarks första reglerade hedgefond för retailinvesterare.

A guide to fundmanagement (en guide till fondförvaltning) är skriven från perspektivet “best practice” och att förstå operationella frågeställningar.

Boken sammanfattar vedertagen bransch standard för struktur, det operativa och processer. Det är ett bra sätt för hedgefonder att snabbt komma igång och spendera mindre tid att läsa “white papers” och mer tid på strategiska riktningen för firman.

Daniel förklarar för HedgeFonder.nu: “boken skrevs sedan jag under lanseringen en hedgefond, utan att backas av en större grupp, behövde en referensmanual om hur jag skulle täcka operationella och arbetsaspekter inom fondförvaltningsbranschen. Det visade sig att en sådan bok fanns inte”. Uppenbarligen har Daniel fyllt ett tomrum i marknaden mycket på samma sätt som han har gjort med Frontiers EM fokuserade fonder som han nyligen har lanserat.
