STOCKHOLM (Direkt) IMF kan komma att revidera upp sin prognos för BNP-tillväxten i USA i år, från 1,8 procent i nuvarande prognos.

Det sade IMF-chefen Christine Lagarde i en tv-intervju på torsdagen, rapportera Bloomberg News.

“Penningpolitiken gör allt den kan för att stödja ekonomin och uppmuntra investeringar”, sade hon och tillade att Federal Reserve har gett en säkerhet om de kommande årens räntor, vilket är idealt för investerare.

USA har dock en del problem att ta itu med, sade IMF-chefen, och nämnde budgetunderskottet och statsskulden på lång sikt och husmarknaden på kort sikt.
