ECB SÄNKER STYRRÄNTAN TILL 1,00% (1,25)

STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Europeiska centralbankens råd beslutade på torsdagen att sänka styrräntan, refiräntan, med 25 punkter till 1,00 procent.

Det meddelade ECB vid en telefonkonferens.

I Bloomberg News enkät bland 58 tillfrågade analytiker trodde 53 att räntan skulle sänkas med 25 punkter till 1,00 procent, två spådde en sänkning med 50 punkter till 0,75 procent och tre trodde att räntan skulle lämnas oförändrad på 1,25 procent.

Refinansieringsräntan ändrades senast den 3 november 2011, då den sänktes med 25 punkter till 1,25 procent.

Samtidigt ändrar ECB sin räntekorridor. Depositräntan sänks till 0,25 procent (0,50), medan utlåningsräntan sänks till 1,75 procent (2,00).
