S&P SÄNKER ITALIENS KREDITBETYG TILL A/A-1

Powering Hedge Funds

STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Standard & Poor´s, S&P, sänker Italiens kreditbetyg på lång och kort sikt till A/A-1 från A+/A-1+. Utsikterna är negativa.

Det framgår av ett pressmeddelande under natten till tisdagen.

“Nedgraderingen speglar vår bedömning om Italiens försvagade ekonomiska tillväxtutsikter och vår bedömning att Italiens bräckliga regeringskoalition och policyskiljaktigheter i parlamentet kommer att fortsätta att begränsa regeringens möjligheter att svara beslutsamt på den utmanande inhemska och externa makroekonomiska miljön”, skriver S&P i pressmeddelandet.

De skriver vidare att under deras nyligen uppdaterade statliga ratingskriterier så var det i första hand Italiens “poäng” för “politik” och “skuld” som bidrog
till att sänka betyget. Poängen för andra delar i S&P:s metodologi – ekonomisk struktur, extern och monetär – bidrog inte till nedgraderingen.
