Folksam investerar i sex vindkraftparker

Folksam blir tillsammans med FAM – helägt av Wallebergstiftelserna – och Proventus delägare i vindkraftsbolaget PWP AB. Bolaget äger sex landbaserade vindkraftparker som kan producera 0,26 TWh el årligen. Folksams del av investeringen uppgår till drygt 200 MKr.
Folksam och de övriga investerarna blir ägare av en tredjedel var i PWP AB. Elproduktionen från de 47 vindkraftverk som är i drift kan värma cirka 13 000 eluppvärmda småhus.

– Vi fortsätter att investera i vindkraft för att ge våra kunder en långsiktigt trygg och lönsam tillväxt. Det här bolaget har dessutom flera intressanta projekt på gång, något som ytterligare kan gynna våra kunder i framtiden, säger Anders Sundström, vd och koncernchef Folksam.

Vindkraftparkerna ligger främst i Mellansverige; en utanför Vansbro kommun, en utanför Rättvik, en utanför Mora, en nära Älvdalen och en utanför Gränna men den största på 32 megawatt finns nära Dorotea kommun i Västerbotten.

Folksam (Liv, Sak och KPA Pension), köper sin andel i PWP AB av Proventus. Folksam äger sedan januari 2011 fyra vindkraftverk i Kulltorp i Gnosjö kommun.
