S&P ger SEB fond-av-hedgefonder “AA” Rating

Stockholm (HedgeFonder.nu) – SEB: s True Market Neutral-fond har blivit den första nordiska fond-av-hedgefonder att få ett “AA” rating av det ledande globala kreditvärderingsinstitutet Standard & Poor’s (SP).

“Detta är en godkännandestämpel för fonden, som har levererat en stabil avkastning för våra kunder oavsett utvecklingen på aktiemarknaden”, berättar Mikael Spångberg, huvudförvaltare på SEB: s True Market Neutral Fund.

Den svenskbaserade kapitalförvaltaren S-E-B har totala tillgångar på 2.118 miljarder kronor och finns representerade i 21 länder med 17.000 anställda.

S&P säger om den svenska kapitalförvaltaren, “SEB förtjänar beröm för sin mycket disciplinerade process att uppnå fondens mål under perioder då de allra flesta fonder-av-hedgefonder har misslyckats. Till exempel gav fonden en avkastning på +3% under 2008 och har fortsatt att ge positiv avkastning varje år.”

Fonden, som riktar sig mot institutionella investerare, syftar till att ge en årlig avkastning på 3-4 procentenheter över den riskfria räntan och att inte avvika mer än 5 procentenheter från målet och att inte ha någon korrelation till aktiemarknaden.

Dessutom har S&P också givit S-E-B: s hedgefonder Dynamic Manager Alfa och Asset Selection betyget “AA”.
