PMI – tjänster steg till 61,4 i april

– konjunkturen i tjänsteföretagen stabiliseras på en hög nivå

  • Inköpschefsindex för tjänsteföretagen (PMI – tjänster) steg marginellt i april till 61,4 från 61,2 i mars. Utvecklingen under de senaste månaderna tyder på en fortsatt förbättring i konjunkturen inom den privata tjänstesektorn om än i en lägre takt.
  • Av totalindexets fyra delkomponenter var det orderingången som svarade för det största positiva bidraget följt av en modest uppgång i leveranstiderna. Indexet för tjänsteföretagens affärsvolym tillsammans med sysselsättningen sjönk däremot under april, men befinner sig alltjämt i den övre delen av tillväxtzonen.
  • Index för planerad affärsvolym har skruvats ned till 68,1 i april från 70,3 i mars, vilket är den lägsta nivån sedan februari förra året. Företagens nedreviderade produktionsplaner signalerar dock om en fortsatt expansion det närmaste halvåret.
  • Prisindexet för leverantörernas insatsvarupriser steg till 65,7 i april från 65,1 i mars. Högre transportmedelskostnader via det höga oljepriset och en stark svensk konjunktur bidrar sannolikt till att pristrycket i den privata tjänstesektorn stiger. Sedan april förra året har indexet ökat med 4,9 indexenheter.
