”Vårt förändringsarbete under det gångna året har gradvis ökat vår förmåga att reagera på globala kriser, framför allt med hjälp av aktier och energi. Men fram till den här månaden, har dessa ansträngningar hämmats av det smala intervall inom vilket energimarknaderna har handlats. Våra branschvikter är väsentligt annorlunda jämfört med de stora förvaltarna, som har 60-80% i aktieindex, valutor och antingen korta eller långa räntor, och det är en viktig mekanism för att öka värdet på dina portföljer. Alla våra modeller har haft en positiv månaden, med den trendföljande modellen med långa positioner som den största bidragsgivaren, vilken bidrog med ca 2/3-delar av avkastningen”, skriver Rho Altius i sin februari-kommentar. Rho Altius steg 15,01 procent i 2010.
