Ryssland minskar gasleveranser till 8 EU-länder

BRYSSEL (Direkt) Åtta EU-länder har fått minskade leveranser av rysk naturgas, men ingen nödsituation har uppstått ännu.

Det sade EU-kommissionens taleskvinna för energi, Marlene Holzner, vid en
pressbriefing på fredagen.

“Igår fick Österrike 30 procent mindre gas än landet skulle ha, Italien 24
procent mindre och Polen 8 procent mindre”, sade hon.

De övriga länderna är Bulgarien, Grekland, Rumänien, Slovakien och Ungern.

Ryssland har förklarat de minskade leveranserna med att vintern är extremt kall också i Ryssland och att man behöver naturgasen där, sade taleskvinnan.

“Ingen nödsituation har uppstått eftersom alla länder kunde täcka sina behov genom inköp på annat håll eller genom att ta från lager”, sade hon.

En samarbetsmekanism mellan EU-länder hjälpte till exempel Polen att få naturgas från Tyskland, som fick fulla leveranser från Ryssland, sade Marlene Holzner.
