STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Den amerikanska dollarn kan komma att få lämna sin roll som världens viktigaste reservvaluta framöver till förmån för ett “multipolärt” system framöver.

Det sade Tysklands förbundskansler Angela Merkel vid en presskonferens på torsdagen, enligt Bloomberg News.

Hon talade efter diskussioner med IMF, Världsbanken och OECD om det globala monetära systemet. Angela Merkel sade att samtalen på torsdagen ska ligga till grund för fortsatta diskussioner vid G20-mötet i november, men det blir endast en start och diskussionerna kommer att fortsätta framöver.
