Stockholm (HedgeNordic) – After building a new team led by Jim Wiant out of New York in an effort to expand its business in the US, Danish credit manager Capital Four has now established its New York office at 280 Park Avenue to house the firm’s investment and business professionals. Currently overseeing about $1 billion in assets under management, Capital Four’s US team manages a portion of the asset manager’s global mandates and will be managing the US collateralized loan obligations (CLOs) and high-yield strategies, among other mandates.

“We are excited about our new office space at 280 Park Avenue,” comments Jim Wiant, who was appointed as Partner and the CEO of Capital Four’s US arm in March this year to establish and lead the firm’s US efforts. “The new space reflects the next step in the expansion of the US business while demonstrating the firm’s significant commitment to both US investing and serving the needs of investors,” he adds. “As we expect further growth in both our investment and business staffing, the new space will meet our needs for the foreseeable future.”

The Copenhagen-headquartered credit asset management boutique has a team of more than 110 professionals and managers over $18 billion on behalf of institutional investors.
