Pimcos största fond underpresterade under 2014

Göteborg (FinWire) – Pimcos största fond underpresterade i förhållande till sina konkurrenter för andra året i rad efter att ha missat ett rally i långfristiga obligationer och satsat felaktigt på att inflationen skulle stiga. Det skriver Bloomberg.

Totalt avkastade fonden Pimco Total Return 4,7 procent under 2014, vilket var en sämre utveckling än 53 procent av jämförbara fonder, enligt data sammanställd av Bloomberg. År 2013 förlorade fonden 1,9 procent, vilket motsvarade en sämre utveckling än 65 procent av jämförbara fonder.

Pimco som är en av världens största obligationsförvaltare hade ett tungt 2014 efter att bland annat dess medgrundare och frontfigur Bill Gross oväntat valt att lämna firman.
