Fitch sänker kreditbetyg för Sony, Panasonic till skräpstatus

STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Kreditvärderingsinstitutet Fitch nedgraderar kreditbetygen för de japanska bolagen Sony och Panasonic.

Båda betygen sänks till skräpstatus (BB- respektive BB). Betygen har negativa utsikter.

Det två tv-tillverkarna, som är Japans största, pressas av vikande efterfrågan av tv-apparater och ökad konkurrens från Samsung och LG. Aktierna för Sony, Panasonic och den mindre rivalen Sharp har alla sjunkit till sina lägsta nivåer på över 30 år i Tokyo under 2012.

I mitten av september flaggade Fitch också för att japanska teknik- och bilföretags kreditbetyg kan komma att sänkas om tvisten, rörande Senkaku/Diaoyu-öarna, mellan Japan och Kina förvärras och drar ut på tiden.
