Fixed-income hedge fund manager CABA Capital has historically operated with a team based in Copenhagen but has recently taken steps to broaden its international investor reach through the appointment of Anders Christian Vinther in London.
“We’re pleased to officially announce that Anders Vinther has joined CABA Capital,” says Mette Østerbye Vejen, Chief Executive Officer of the manager. “With the launch of CABA Flex2, we began engaging more actively with investors outside our domestic markets,” she adds. Vinther, who joins from Danske Bank in London, will be responsible for driving this international investor outreach. “I’m truly proud that Anders has chosen to join CABA Capital, and I greatly enjoy working with him on a daily basis,” notes Østerbye.

Vinther has nearly three decades of experience in financial markets. He began his career as a derivatives trader at Bank One and Credit Suisse between 1995 and 2002, before going on to hold senior roles at RBS and BNP as Head of Nordic Sales. He joined Danske Bank in 2015 as Head of International Asset Managers and most recently served as UK Country Manager.
Founded in 2016 by Carsten Bach (Chief Investment Officer), Mette Østerbye Vejen, and Niels-Ulrik Mousten, CABA Capital initially focused on managing its fixed-income hedge fund, CABA Hedge. In late 2022, the firm launched what would later become the first fund in its Flex series, vehicles designed to harvest risk premia in Scandinavian mortgage bonds through a three-year maturity structure. The inaugural CABA Flex fund was launched during a period of attractive market spreads and went on to deliver an annualized return of 12.3 percent over its full three-year term.
The concept has since evolved into a broader series, with CABA Flex3 launched in the summer of 2025 and expected to generate a cumulative return of 25 to 30 percent over its three-year life. As the Flex series has evolved from a single opportunistic launch into a recurring product range, the expansion of CABA Capital’s investor base has become a natural next step.
