Davidsen will be part of the team running Bankinvest’s alternative fund, Børsnoterede Alternativer, which invests in alternative asset classes such as private equity, private debt, infrastructure, and real estate. “I want to thank Andrea Panzieri and Nils Lodberg for giving me the opportunity to contribute to the continued success of the recently launched Alternatives fund and to help democratize alternative investments for the clients of BankInvest,” comments Davidsen.
Tore Davidsen served as a portfolio manager of SEB Eureka Fixed Income Relative Value alongside the fund’s architect and chief investment officer Bo Michael Andersen since its launch in January 2018. The duo was later joined by a third portfolio manager, Rasmus Dall-Hansen, in the summer of 2019. SEB Eureka, the “Best Nordic Fixed-Income Hedge Fund” at the Nordic Hedge Award for two consecutive years, employs a relative-value fixed-income strategy focused on Scandinavian covered bond, government bond, and OTC derivatives markets.
Davidsen spent more than 12 years at SEB in various roles. Before joining Bo Michael Andersen as a portfolio manager of SEB Eureka, Davidsen spent three years as a Portfolio Manager in Fixed Income and Tactical Asset Allocation. “We are happy to be able to attract a profile like Tore. With the employment of Tore, we gain important skills and experience that we can use widely in our department for alternative investments,” says Andrea Panzieri, investment director at Bankinvest, in an announcement.
