Stockholm (HedgeNordic) – Andreas Konstantino has been appointed the new responsible manager for Scandinavian Credit Fund I and Nordic Factoring Fund three months after Stefan Skrimsjö was named interim fund manager. Konstantino has been assigned the new Head of Investments, a role previously held by Kreditfonden founder Fredrik Sjöstrand.
Stefan Skrimsjö was appointed as interim fund manager of direct lending fund Scandinavian Credit Fund I and invoice factoring vehicle Nordic Factoring Fund in mid-July to replace founder and Head of Investments Fredrik Sjöstrand. Sjöstrand switched to working full-time at Kreditfonden’s sister company – Riddargatan Förvaltning – which operates as an owner company of the loans where the two lending funds have realized pledged assets.
Andreas Konstantino (pictured center) most recently worked as an independent valuer at Finserve Nordic, the regulated alternative investment fund (AIF) manager of both Scandinavian Credit Fund I and Nordic Factoring Fund. Before Finserve Nordic, he worked at Swedbank in various roles, most recently as a credit specialist. He has acquired extensive experience in lending, IFRS9, risk assessment, and process development from Swedbank. Following the recent appointment of Konstantino as Head of Investments, Skrimsjö has taken on the role of an independent valuer.
“We are convinced that he will shoulder the role of responsible manager and will do a fantastic job together with the team.”
“Andreas has a very good knowledge and understanding of the portfolios and holdings in Finserve’s funds after his time as an independent valuer,” according to an announcement. “We are convinced that he will shoulder the role of responsible manager and will do a fantastic job together with the team.”
Kreditfonden has sought to become a significant player in the market for direct loans to Nordic companies since launching its first direct lending fund, Scandinavian Credit Fund I, in 2016. Scandinavian Credit Fund I provides senior secured loans to small and mid-sized companies in Scandinavia. Kreditfonden’s second fund, Nordic Factoring Fund, focuses on the Nordic market for factoring loans.
