GAM Lands Magnus Jahnke as Head of Nordics

Stockholm (HedgeNordic) – Magnus Jahnke will be joining Swiss asset management firm GAM Investments in September as Head of Nordics Distribution after close to six years in a similar role at Jupiter Asset Management. Jahnke will be responsible for GAM’s distribution strategy in the Nordics and will lead business development, client service and engagement with consultants in the region.

Jahnke will report to Jill Barber when joining GAM Investments on September 1. “Magnus brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this role and I very much look forward to working with him,” says Barber.

Magnus Jahnke joins the Swiss asset manager from Jupiter Asset Management, where he served as Managing Director, Head of Nordics for the past six years. Before Jupiter, Jahnke spent five years at Lancelot Asset Management as Portfolio Manager and Head of Fund Selection. He also used to work within fund and manager selection at Nordea Investment Management.
