Latest Report

This year’s Alternative Fixed Income report from HedgeNordic explores how institutional investors and asset managers are navigating this new reality, balancing yield and resilience amid shifting credit cycles, structural change, and evolving sources of return.

Stockholm (HedgeNordic) – Aalborg-based Formue Nord has bolstered its team with the hiring of Søren Skinbjerg as Client Portfolio Manager. The boutique asset manager, which runs two market-neutral funds offering financing solutions to listed companies, has rapidly grown to encompass a team of eight employees from a founding team of two.

“Søren Skinbjerg has today started at Formue Nord as Client Portfolio Manager, and we are super happy to have him on the team,” writes Formue Nord on LinkedIn. “Søren’s primary focus at Formue Nord will be on customers and business development, where he will contribute to strengthening our efforts and work focused on client relations,” according to the LinkedIn post. “Søren is already well underway to getting accustomed to our business.”

Søren Skinbjerg joins Formue Nord from Jyske Bank, where he worked as an investment advisor for three and a half years. Before Jyske Bank, Skinbjerg worked at Nordea for more than 12 years after having started as a trainee in the summer of 2006. He spent most of his career as an investment advisor at Nordea Private Banking in Aalborg. Skinbjerg graduated with a Degree in Business focusing on Financial Advice from the Copenhagen Business Academy.

Formue Nord is a specialized asset manager offering tailored financing solutions to listed micro-, small- and midcap companies in the Nordic region via its two funds: Formue Nord Markedsneutral and Formue Nord Fokus. Formue Nord Fokus generally offers financing solutions with a maturity of at least one year, whereas Formue Nord Markedsneutral engages in transactions with shorter maturities. Both vehicles maintain beta-neutral portfolios at all times through the use of equity index futures or other derivatives. The older Formue Nord Markedsneutral has generated an annualized return of 7.6 percent since late 2015, while Formue Nord Fokus has delivered an annualized return of 12.2 percent since launching in the second half of 2018.
