Stockholm (HedgeNordic) – Copenhagen-based private equity firm Polaris has hired Amanda Platek to establish an investor relations function and strengthened its investment team by hiring Frederikke Beck and Olga Court-Payen as associates. Platek will be responsible for fundraising activities and investor contact at Polaris, and will be reporting directly to Managing Partner Jan Johan Kühl.

Amanda Platek

Amanda Platek has significant investor relations experience from previous positions at Capstone in New York and within the Brokerage Division at Barclays. “We are pleased to welcome a strong profile like Amanda to the team, where she will leverage her broad international experience and contribute to the strengthening of our fundraising activities and the important contact with our investors,” Jan Johan Kühl comments on Platek joining the firm.

Polaris has also strengthened its investment team with the hiring of Frederikke Beck and Olga Court-Payen as associates. Frederikke Beck joins Polaris from KIRKBI, the private holding and investment company of Kirk Kristiansen’s family, the owners of Danish toymaker LEGO. Beck previously worked as an analyst at J.P. Morgan’s Nordic M&A team in London. Olga Court-Payen also joins Polaris as an associate from a similar position at Carnegie Investment Bank. Court-Payen previously worked at Oaklins in Copenhagen.

“We are excited to be able to attract talented profiles like Amanda, Frederikke and Olga who will strengthen Polaris to the benefit of our organisation, investors and portfolio companies,” says Jan Johan Kühl.
