Hedgefonders nettolånga positioner i guld på lägsta nivån sedan 2006

Göteborg (FinWire) – Inte sedan guldpriset befann sig runt 600 dollar per uns har hedgefonder haft en så negativ positionering i ädelmetallen. Det uppger Mining.com.

Guldet är ner cirka 12 procent från årets högstanivå och under förra veckan indikerade de stora positionerna i terminerna en ovanligt negativ syn på den framtida utvecklingen.

Positioneringen inför uppgång är nu den lägsta sedan 2006 då guldpriset rörde sig runt 600 dollar per uns. Totalt är 306 ton guld sålt på termin på terminsmarknaden i New York, något som också är ett nytt rekord.
