Catella Hedge hoppas på europeisk återhämtning

Göteborg (FinWire) – Catella Hedge Fund har ökat på sina innehav i ABB och Trelleborg medan fonden samtidigt gått kort i SCA. Fonden har tagit upp aktier som förvaltarna räknar med kommer att gynnas av en återhämtning av den europeiska ekonomin. Det uppger förvaltaren Ulf Strömsten i en intervju med Bloomberg.

Fondens strategi är att plocka in aktier som presterat svagt året före och vars potential har underskattats. I år är det aktier såsom Trelleborg och ABB. Bolaget har också sålt av sina företagsobligationer. Strömsten bekräftar också att hedgefonden inte förlorat på valutakaoset i Schweiz.

“Utmaningen för 2015 är vad som kommer att hända med den europeiska ekonomin”, sade Ulf Strömsten.

Catella Hedge har mer än 1 miljard dollar under förvaltning.
