Merrill Lynchs FoHF portfölj blir del av Man Group

Stockholm (HedgeNordic) –  Man Group har förvärvat Merrill Lynchs fund of hedge fund-portfölj bestående av 17 multi-strategy och strategy-focused fund of hedge funds med ett förvaltat värde om 1,2 miljarder USD. Man Group har nyligen även förvärvat Pine Grove Asset Management LLC.

Förvaltningen av Merrill Lynchs portföljer kommer att utföras av Man Groups avdelning för fund of hedge funds, FRM, som valdes efter en due diligence process där förvaltningsexpertis, personalens kvalitet, investeringsprocess och kundservice utvärderades. Fonderna kommer att erbjudas till bolagets kunder liksom Merrill Lynchs och US Trusts kunder. Det meddelade bolaget i ett pressmeddelande.
