Varför Hedgefonder? – Ny rapport från AIMA

This year’s Alternative Fixed Income report from HedgeNordic explores how institutional investors and asset managers are navigating this new reality, balancing yield and resilience amid shifting credit cycles, structural change, and evolving sources of return.

Stockholm (HedgeNordic.com) – Organisationen för alternativa investeringar eller Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) har publicerat en ny rapport på temat “varför hedgefonder?” eller “the case for Hedge Funds”. Rapporten är ett samlingsdokument över AIMAs forskning inom området sedan den globala finanskrisen bröt ut.

Den 28 sidor långa rapporten summerar de teman som AIMA har gjort djupare efterforskningar på sedan 2008 som ett led i att påvisa de värden som hedgefondindustrin levererar till investerare, finansiella marknader och den bredare ekonomin.

Den inkluderar utdrag ur vad AIMA anser vara sina viktigaste forskningsrapporter, detta inkluderar; “Roadmap to Hedge Funds”, den första guiden till hedgefonder som producerats gemensamt av industrin och dess investerare; “The Cost of Compliance”, en global undersökning av hedgefondförvaltare som avslöjar de betydande investeringar som dessa gör för att kunna följa det nya regelkraven; “Beyond 60/40”, en rapport som visar på den roll som hedgefonder spelar i institutionella investerares portföljer; slutligen “Apples and Apples”, en rapport som gjorts i undervisningssyfte för att förstå hedgefonders avkastning.

I denna rapport finns även utdrag från AIMAs “white pappers” och artiklar gällande en rad ämnen såsom industrins nytta ur ett socialt sammanhang, påverkan av institutionaliseringen, skuggbankssystem, “short selling” och hedgefondindustrins rykte.
