Nordea Alpha 15 tar tillbaka förlorad terräng

This year’s Alternative Fixed Income report from HedgeNordic explores how institutional investors and asset managers are navigating this new reality, balancing yield and resilience amid shifting credit cycles, structural change, and evolving sources of return.

Stockholm (HedgeNordic.com) – Efter ett starkt 2012 har Nordeas multi-strategi hedgefond, Alpha 15, haft svårt att leverera avkastning under 2013. Positiva månader i september, oktober och november har dock sett till att fonden parkerar på ett plusresultat för året.

Enligt den senaste publicerade månadsrapporten för fonden kommenterar förvaltaren uppgången med ett starkt resultat för “Equity vs. Fixed Income” strategier som legat överviktade aktier. Även “fixed income credit” samt volatilitetsstrategier hade positiva resultatbidrag.

Inför december månad har fondens durationsneutrala positioner ändrats till att reflektera en lång duration. Förvaltaren har även en positiv vy på kreditsidan. Aktie- kontra räntestrategier reflekterar en fortsättnigsvis relativt positiv syn på aktier.

Målsättningen för Nordea Investment Managements Alpha 15-strategi är att skapa stabil absolutavkastning genom att ta position inom ett brett spektrum av olika tillgångar. Filosofin bygger på att utnyttja ineffektiviteter på de finansiella marknaderna, där värderingarna har rört sig bort från sin trend eller där det råder asymmetri vad gäller information.
