Stockholm (HedgeFonder.nu) – Priskurvorna pekade uppåt när handeln med metaller och råolja inleddes på måndagen i den europeiska tidszonen. Det rapporterar nyhetsbyrån Direkt.

För råoljan visade Brent i första termin en uppgång på 0:44 dollar till 111:08. Än starkare gick WTI, upp 0:67 dollar till 94:23.
“Vi ser en fortsatt kontraktion i spreaden mellan West Texas (WTI) och Brent, vilket reflekterar den utbyggnad som sker av infrastrukturen i USA. Det finns ett positivt momentum som driver West Texas-kontrakten”, säger Michael McCarthy, chefsstrateg vid CMC Markets i Sydney, till Bloomberg News med hänvisning till den kapacitetsökning som genomförts av den pipeline som förbinder leveranspunkten Cushing, Oklahoma, med Freeport i Texas.

Pipelinen stängde den 2 januari, men har nu återupptagit leveranserna till fullo. Kapaciteten har ökats från 150.000 fat per dag till 400.000.

Statistik från Commodity Futures Trading Commission visar också att efterfrågan på olja från finansiella aktörer är god. Långa positioner hos hedgefonder ligger på den högsta nivån på tre månader, skriver Bloomberg News.

På London Metal Exchange var det uppåt över hela linjen. Tremåndersterminen för koppar visade en uppgång på 57 dollar till 8.102, en uppgång på 0,7 procent, medan zinken var upp 14 dollar, även det 0,7 procent, till 2.028 dollar.
Bland ädelmetallerna handlades spotpriset på guld upp 0,4 procent till nivåer strax under 1.669 dollar per uns. Silvret var samtidigt upp nära 1 procent till 30:75 dollar.
