STOCKHOLM (Direkt) – Det amerikanska finansdepartementet sade på fredagen att de inleder sin plan att sälja dess resterande innehav på 300 miljoner aktier i General Motors.

Det rapporterar Bloomberg News.

Försäljningen är ett steg i statens försök att befria sig från inblandning med biltillverkaren efter den stödutbetalning på 50 miljarder dollar som inleddes 2009.

Finansdepartementet meddelade under torsdagen att Citigroup och JP Morgan utsetts att mäkla aktierna, och försäljningen väntas ske över de kommande 12-15 månaderna beroende på förhållandena på aktiemarknaden.
