Tungt år för svenska hedgefonder – avkastningen runt nollstrecket

Stockholm (HedgeFonder.nu) – Avsaknaden av tydliga marknadstrender uppges som en av orsakerna till att flera hedgefonder inte har haft ett särskilt bra år 2012. Det skriver SvD Näringsliv.

Karl Wahnberg, analytiker på Indecap, säger till tidningen att han ser en väldigt blandad avkastning bland hedgefonderna.

– När de tror att det har etablerats en trend så ligger de plötsligt fel när marknaden vänder och går åt andra hållet. Och sitter du fel i första vändningen så hamnar du lätt efter och ligger fel i nästa, säger han till SvD Näringsliv.

Hedgefonden Gladiator som förvaltas av Max Mitteregger hyllades 2011, men har det här året endast ökat marginellt.

– Jag har haft rätt syn på konjunkturen, rätt syn på bolagens vinstutveckling, men fel syn på indexutvecklingen. Börsen har gått upp, och jag har varit kort i cykliska bolag och i index till och från, säger Max Mitteregger till SvD Näringsliv.

Brummers multistrategifond är upp runt 4 procent medan singelstrategifonderna Archipel, Benros och Futuris alla är ned mellan 4 och 5 procent. Zenit skiljer sig detta år från de övriga och har gått upp 12 procent, skriver SvD.
