STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Antalet nyanmälda sökande av arbetslöshetsunderstöd i USA minskade med 2.000 personer till 387.000 personer, under vecka 24, jämfört med föregående vecka.

Det visar säsongsjusterad statistik från det amerikanska
arbetsmarknadsdepartementet.

Analytiker hade räknat med 383.000 nya arbetssökande, enligt Bloomberg News
snittprognos.

För vecka 23 uppgick antalet nyanmälda arbetslösa till reviderade 389.000
personer (386.000).

Genomsnittet för de fyra senaste veckorna steg till 386.250, jämfört med
reviderade 382.750 (382.000) föregående vecka. Det var den högsta nivån hittills
i år.

Antalet personer som fortsatte att få bidrag uppgick till 3,299 miljoner under
vecka 23, oförändrat från reviderade 3,299 miljoner veckan före (3,278). Siffran
släpar efter en vecka jämfört med siffran för antalet nyanmälda arbetslösa.
