Fitch bekräftar Österrikes kreditbetyg AAA

STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Fitch rating bekräftar Österrikes kreditbetyg AAA, med
stabila utsikter.

Det framgår av ett pressmeddelande på tisdagen.

Fitch fastslår att Österrikes betyg stöds av landets utvecklade och flexibla ekonomi, starka inhemska institutioner och en lång historia av
stabilitetsorienterad politik.

“Solida ekonomiska fundamenta speglas i den snabba återhämtningen från
recessionen 2008-9, låg arbetslöshet och en relativt gynnsam finanspolitisk position inom euroområdet”, skriver Fitch.

Kreditvärderingsinstitutet påpekar att de österrikiska bankernas exponering mot Europas tillväxtländer, inklusive stora volymer till svaga länder, är “signifikanta”. Det utgör dock för närvarande inte något betydande hot mot Österrikes AAA-betyg, enligt Gergely Kiss, gruppchef vid Fitch.
