Fitch uppgraderar Island

STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Kreditväreringsinstitutet Fitch har uppraderat Island till BBB-, från tidigare BB+, med stabila utsikter.

Islands kreditbetyg är därmed på “investment grade”.

“Återhämtningen för Islands långsiktiga valutabetyg till investment grade
återspeglar de framsteg som har gjorts för att återupprätta den makroekonomiska stabiliteten, att gå vidare med strukturreformerna och återuppbyggnaden av kreditvärdigheten sedan bank- och valutakrisen 2008sade Paul Rawkins på Fitch i en kommentar.
