Finländska Northern Star introducerar multi-asset UCITS-fond

Stockholm (HedgeFonder.nu) – Helsingforsbaserade Northern Star meddelade på sin hemsida att de lanserar två UCITS-följande multi-asset-fonder. Global Dynamic Opportunities 10+ Fund investerar i globala obligationer, aktier och råvaror, medan Enhanced Fixed Income 5+ Fund, som namnet indikerar, kommer att använda en dynamisk, flexibel strategi för att investera i räntebärande tillgångar. “Dessa fonder är utformade för att möta en växande efterfrågan på strategier för tillgångsallokerings med låg volatilitet som fokuserar på en attraktiv avkastningsförväntning och erbjuder kapitalbevarande egenskaper över en konjunkturcykel”, säger VD Tomi Långström.

Markku Malkamäki ansvarar för multi-asset-teamet. Innan han började på Northern Star arbetade Markku Malkamäki som VD för en privatbank där han förvaltade multi-asset-strategier, där t.ex. en av dem, portföljen ’Target model 10+’, över en period av sex år gav en årlig genomsnittlig avkastning på 12,6%. Malkamäki säger att medan multi-asset-fonder traditionellt har varit en vanlig investering inom private banking-förvaltning, ”ser vi även ett ökande institutionellt intresse för dynamisk tillgångsallokering. Vår multi-asset-fond ger våra kunder möjligheten att komma åt vår strategi för tillgångsallokering, kombinerat med att fonden levererar en god volatilitetsjusterad avkastning och/eller erbjuder ett kapitalskydd.”

Global Dynamic Opportunities 10+ Fund kommer att ha en strategisk inriktning mot obligationer och aktier inom emerging markets.
