SPANSKA BANKER PÅ BEVAKNING FÖR NEDGRADERING

STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Kreditvärderingsinstitutet Moody´s har satt åtta spanska
banker och två holdingbolag under bevakning för eventuell nedgradering.

Det framgår av ett pressmeddelande där Moodys gått igenom spanska bankers
finansiella styrka vid högre förluster på kommersiella fastighetsexponering och
minskad intjäningsförmåga i ljuset av svagare ekonomiska utsikter.

Bankerna i fråga är Banco Sabadell, Bankia och dess holdingbolag Banco
Financiero y de Ahorro, Bankinter, CaixaBank och dess holdingbolag La Caixa, Confederacion Espanola de Cajas de Ahorro, Caja Rural de Granada, Ibercaja Banco, och Lico Leasing.

Moody’s utökar sin översyn av sju spanska banker som är involverade i
samgåenden, varav Unicaja, Caja Vital, Banco Popular and NCG Banco står inför möjlig nedgradering och Bilbao Bizkaia Kutxa, Banco Ceiss and Banco Pastor för möjlig uppgradering.

Moody’s har slutligen satt Banco CAM:s betyg under översyn för eventuell
uppgradering efter förvärvet av Banco Sabadell, som aviserades den 7 december.
