SEB True Market Neutral började bra i Q4

This year’s Alternative Fixed Income report from HedgeNordic explores how institutional investors and asset managers are navigating this new reality, balancing yield and resilience amid shifting credit cycles, structural change, and evolving sources of return.

Stockholm (HedgeFonder.nu) – SEB True Market Neutral visade sin näst bästa månadsavkastning som fond i oktober, där man avslutade månaden på +1,42%. Endast en kvantitativ förvaltare i fond-i-fondportföljen bidrog negativt till resultatet. Fonden tog sig igenom sommarens och höstens volatila marknadsförutsättningar – som sopade undan mer än 20% av aktievärdet – tämligen oförändrad med låg volatilitet. Hittills i år är fonden upp 4,22% med en Sharpekvot på 1,69. Barclay Hedge Fund of Fund Index är ner mer än 5% under samma period.

Portföljen av fonder inom SEB True Market Neutral erbjuder investerare exponering mot ett urval av högkvalitativa Market neutral-hedgefonder. Fonderna väljs ut i en strukturerad process som inkluderar en grundlig due diligence och utvärdering baserad på både dess egna meriter, samt även deras bidrag till den totala portföljen.

SEB:s True Market Neutral-fond har blivit den första nordiska fond-av-hedgefonder att få betyget “AA” av det ledande globala kreditvärderingsinstitutet Standard & Poor’s (S&P).

S&P säger om den svenska kapitalförvaltaren, “SEB förtjänar beröm för sin mycket disciplinerade process att uppnå fondens mål under perioder då de allra flesta fonder-av-hedgefonder har misslyckats. Till exempel gav fonden en avkastning på +3% under 2008 och har fortsatt att ge positiv avkastning varje år.”

Fonden, som riktar sig mot institutionella investerare, syftar till att ge en årlig avkastning på 3-4 procentenheter över den riskfria räntan och att inte avvika mer än 5 procentenheter från målet och att inte ha någon korrelation till aktiemarknaden.

Dessutom har S&P också givit SEB:s hedgefonder Dynamic Manager Alfa och Asset Selection betyget “AA”.
