STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Moody’s Investors Service sänker utsikterna för den
europeiska stålsektorn till negativa, från tidigare stabila.

Det framgår av ett pressmeddelande.

Efterfrågan på stål har minskat på grund av globala makroekonomiska faktorer och den europeiska skuldkrisen, skriver Moody’s.

Flera indikatorer för stålindustrin försämras, bland dem fallande
inköpschefsindex, svagare konsumentförtroende och lägre priser på stål och
råvaror.

Efterfrågan på stål i Europa kommer att variera inom ett spann på minus 4
procent och plus 2 procent under de kommande tolv månaderna, vilket kan jämföras med en väntad uppgång på mellan5 och 7 procent under 2011, enligt Moody’s.
