STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Köpare av raffinerad koppar är “betydligt mer försiktiga” i sina order och undviker lageruppbyggnad “mer än tidigare”.

Det skrev den tyska kopparproducenten Aurubis i en marknadskommentar på tisdagen, rapporterar Bloomberg news. Dessutom vill köpare ha mer flexibla leveranser, enligt bolaget, som också bestred uppgifterna om att Kinas kopparlager var 1,8 miljoner ton vid slutet av

2010, och skrev att det “inte verkar rimligt”.

Strejker i koppargruvor i Indonesien och Peru innebär att gruvbolag har bättre förhandlingspositioner att sälja koncentrat på spotmarknaden, och handlare och kinesiska smältare “visar köpintresse”, skrev Aurubis.
